What was your first job?
I tried to apply for a paper round when I was 12 but was too young, you had to be 13 so I set up my own car washing business. Definitely made more money that way.
What’s been your worst job interview?
I’ve only ever had 3 job interviews. I got all 3 jobs so haven’t had any bad ones. One was for a kitchen porter when I was 15, I think they interview consisted of asking if could use a scrubbing brush and when I could start. Not my most enjoyable job but did it for a year.
What was the first music single you bought?
I think it was Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus when I was 13. I guess I felt like I could relate at the time. Still listen to it now, just less of a Teenage Dirtbag.
How do you describe your job to your mates?
We often get them involved with our events so they see the side that looks great fun, but they know it’s a lot of work and we put in a lot of hours in behind the scenes.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
Seeing the brand grow for strength to strength, from an idea/concept to now being stock in the 4 big multiples.
What is the least rewarding part?
Dealing with the issues and problems that pop up, and paperwork, really don’t like paperwork.

Robot to do my paperwork.
Do you have any phobias?
Don’t really have any phobias, just a phobia of giving up. One time I said I wouldn’t leave a friends house until I could complete his Rubik’s cube, so I didn’t leave his apartment until I learnt how to do it. I’m still there now…only joking took me most of the afternoon.
If you could change one thing in grocery, what would it be?
The amount of plastic and waste. It’s not necessarily down to just the supermarkets but also down to the consumers willingness to change their habits.
What luxury would you have on a desert island?
A sailing boat? Or is that cheating?
What animal reflects your personality?
Labrador, I’m loyal and always happy to see people.
What’s your favourite film and why?
Catch me if you can – I do enjoy a film based on a true story
What has been the most embarrassing moment in your life?
I misunderstood the fancy dress theme.
Which celebrity would you most like to work with and why?
I read Elon Musk’s autobiography, he really intrigued me. Would love to get an inside look into SpaceX and Tesla.
What would your death row meal be?
Deep fried English brie for starter, Sunday roast for main, and a white chocolate cheese cake. With a Cranes Cider to wash it down.
